Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis hit the stage with Jimmy Fallon to perform a hilarious rendition of REO Speedwagon’s “Can’t Fight This Feeling” on Thursday’s Tonight Show.
“Would you do a number for us now?” Fallon asked Forte. “I know Jason’s not here, but could you?”
Forte grabbed two mics from Fallon and headed to the stage, ready to perform the REO ballad — then suddenly Sudeikis, his The Last Man on Earth co-star, popped out behind the curtain on-stage and took the second mic.
Sudeikis passionately sang the first verse of the song, while staring deeply into Forte’s eyes. Forte jumped in during the chorus and the duo serenaded the audience with their deep vocals.
Fallon joined the former SNL stars on-stage to signal a commercial break, but Forte and Sudeikis kept on belting out the lyrics, pulling Fallon into the music with them.
Fallon began to sing the song just as enthusiastically and even got the crowd into it — telling everyone to wave their hands in the air and sing along.
