Since Tarek and Christina El Moussa have split, what will happen to their show? Reportedly, the couple have decided to go on with another season of Flip or Flop even though they are not together.
Back in December, the couple split after seven years of marriage. An incident involving Tarek fleeing the house with a gun led to a police investigation. There were many rumors which the couple addressed in a statement:
“Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed,” El Moussa said.
The couple has the choice whether to continue with the show, but so far the outlook seems good. The show’s ratings are satisfactory, and the HGTV network is willing to continue the show. After the two announced their divorce, the ratings went down a bit for the season, but now they are actually up 30 percent.
A source close to the couple said that they “are very much committed and want to continue to work together and continue the show.”
New episodes of Flip or Flop air every Thursday nights on HGTV.
