Will Ferrell was involved in a car accident in California on Thursday night, according to official documents.

The actor was a passenger of an SUV that was overturned in a car accident on Thursday in Orange County. According to the accident report from the California Highway Patrol, there were only two cars involved in the accident. Ferrell’s vehicle was hit when another car tried to merge into their lane, it then caused his SUV to hit the highway’s center divider median which led to the car to be overturned.

Following the accident, Ferrell and three other people who were in the car were taken to the hospital to treat their injuries. He only had minor injuries and has been released from the hospital. No arrests have been made for the accident.

Ferrell was returning from a Funny or Die event in San Diego called “Glam Up the Midterms,” where he appeared at the event as his Anchorman character Ron Burgundy. The even was hosted by fellow comedian Billy Eichner.

Ferrell’s management has not put out an official statement following the accident.
