In April, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum separated after eight years of marriage. Amid rumors that Tatum is dating singer Jessie J, Dewan was seen with Tony Award-winner Steve Kazee.
A day after she had officially for divorce, she was seen with Kazee at Mike Meldman‘s Halloween party.
According to an E! News source, “They have been dating for a few months. She was introduced to him by mutual friends and they hit it off right away. Jenna really likes him and is very happy. She has completely moved on from her marriage and is happy to have met someone new. Steve treats her very well and is doing everything right. She’s hopeful about the future, but not getting too far ahead of herself.”
The pair were also seen with a group of friends at Los Angeles’ famed Haunted Hayride in Griffith Park.
Kazee is a 42-year-old artist originally from Kentucky. He won his Tony Award in 2012 for the musical Once. The soundtrack of that play also won a Grammy. On top of that, he’s appeared on both Shameless and NCIS. He’s currently starring in the Broadway adaption of Pretty Woman.
Earlier this year, Kazee’s family home in Kentucky burned down.
Kazee tweeted, “As some of you may have already heard my home in Kentucky burned down early Thursday morning. Thankfully everyone, with the exception of my moms beloved dog Frankie, escaped with minor injuries. The fire resulted in a total loss of the home and all possessions.”
Kazee also has two dogs named Violet and Stella that he posts frequently.
Dewan is currently asking for joint legal and physical custody of her 5-year-old daughter, Everly, with Tatum. She’s also sought child and spousal support.
