Who Is Pippa Middleton's Boyfriend, Alex Loudon?

Not all eyes were on Kate Middleton and Prince William during the royal wedding last weekend. Maid of honor and sister of the bride Pippa Middleton got her fair share of approving glances during the ceremony of the year, leaving everyone wondering if she was officially dating Alex Guy Rushworth Loudon, on whose arm she appeared at the wedding. Of course this didn't quiet unfounded rumors that she might be involved with Prince Harryy, who was Best Man at the wedding.

Instead, 30-year-old Loudon is the lucky guy. Middleton has been dating the finance stockbroker for about a year. The former cricketer and Westminster native has been pals with Prince William since the two were schoolmates at Eton, the prestigious UK prep school. After that he went to Durham University, where he launched a short career as a sportsman before his retirement in 2007.

Loudon wanted to pursue a career in business like his father, James Loudon, a retired financier. He enrolled as a full-time student at the London Business School in 2008, bidding adieu to his fellow cricketers. "I will continue to closely support the club and wish the boys every success for the next season and beyond," he told the BBC at the time.

In his relationship with Middleton, he seems to fit the bill. The two "have been virtually living together in London, and Pippa is a regular visitor to his family's stately home in Kent, Olantigh Towers," revealed a friend to UK's Daily Mail. "Alex can't see himself spending his future with anyone else, and Pippa, although very picky, thinks Alex ticks all the right boxes — he has the family pile in the country, a smart job in London and he is very handsome."
