It turns out Aferdita Dreshaj, 26, was the tall blond model spotted with Leonardo DiCaprio, 39, in Miami Beach. But just who, exactly, is this woman?
Dreshaj, 26, was Miss Universe Kosovo 2011 and aside from being a model she is also a recording artist whose songs are popular in Albanian speaking nations. Fun fact: she competed on Season 3 of Albania’s Dancing With The Stars.
For now, Dreshaj maintains that there is nothing hot and heavy going on between her and Hollywood's leading man.
"We were all just hanging out as friends,” Dreshaj told E! News.
Dreshaj would certainly fit DiCaprio’s type, though. In the past the actor has dated a long line of stunning blonds including Blake Lively, Bar Rafaeli and Gisele Bundchen. The swirling romance rumors seem to always accompany the actor, and it's possible he just hasn't had any time to settle down. 2013 marks yet another big year for DiCaprio, who recently starred in the Academy Award-nominated Django Unchained, and is due to appear in two upcoming high profile films: The Great Gatsby (in 3D!) and The Wolf of Wall Street, directed by Martin Scorcese and also starring Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin and Matthew McConaughey, among others.
