On Halloween, ABC gave Bachelor Nation a treat by dropping Colton Underwood’s debut as the next Bachelor in a new teaser for the upcoming 23 Season of the reality dating series.
In the teaser trailer, posted to Instagram and Twitter on Wednesday, the Indiana native, is seen picking petals off a rose and twirling around as rose petals shower down on him.
“I’m your new bachelor,” the 26-year-old reality star, dressed in a dark black suit and shiny black shoes, said before blowing a handful of petals at the camera.

According to the clip, Season 23 of The Bachelor is set to premiere on ABC in January 2019.
Underwood, who made it to third place on Becca Kufrin’s season 14 of The Bachelorette and briefly dated Tia Booth on Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise, was first announced as the series season 23 suitor in September.
Once ABC revealed that the former football player would be the next Bachelor, Fans took to Twitter with a mix of reactions.
On Sunday, during an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Underwood met his first three contestants and according to Us Weekly, he met the rest of his contestants the next day during filming.
While on Ellen, Underwood opened up about what he was looking forward to in his journey as the next Bachelor.
“Finding out the little things about them is some of the most interesting things,” he told Ellen DeGeneres at the time. “You get to see the big storylines on TV. I’m looking forward to just [learning], ‘What’s your favorite snack? What kind of dog do you like?’ Just, like, the little, everyday things that you guys really don’t care about.”
Since being on Kufrin’s Bachelorette Season, Underwood has become known for being a virgin after telling Kufrin that he was waiting to have sex until he found someone that he truly loves.
When talking about his potential plans for the shows fantasy suite dates, where the bachelor and a contestant have a suite to themselves for a night, Underwood said that they could possibly “play board games” or “hang out.”
“You could do more in the fantasy suites than just have sex,” Underwood said.
