Who Is Bridget Peters, Joe Manganiello's Girlfriend?

Joe Manganiello, one of True Blood’s resident heartthrobs and new fitness author, is coming up on his one-year anniversary with his model girlfriend, Bridget Peters.

Joe Manganiello Met Bridget Peters At A Boxing Match

Manganiello, 37, met Peters in Las Vegas at a boxing match where Peters was working as a ring girl. About a year later, Manganiello and Peters are still going strong. In October, Manganiello took Peters along for his family vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The duo hiked and snorkeled with Manganiello’s brother and sister-in-law. This wasn’t Peters’ first encounter with the Manganiello family. In fact, Peters and Manganiello were spotted attending Cirque du Soleil’s Zarkana show in Las Vegas with Manganiello’s brother and father at the beginning of their relationship.

The always private Manganiello has been opening up a bit about his lady love while on a press tour promoting his new fitness book, Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You’ve Always Wanted.

Manganiello and Peters stepped out together recently to attend The Art of Elysium’s Annual HEAVEN Gala on Saturday, Jan. 11. Peters looked lovely in a green, flowing dress that showed off her model curves. In previous interviews, Manganiello revealed that he likes women a bit on the curvier side, saying, “I’m a big guy. All too often in Hollywood actresses are super skinny. As a man my primal instincts don’t kick in when they are that skinny. It’s almost unhealthy. I like curves.”

Manganiello Praises Girlfriend

And, in December, while promoting his book, Manganiello revealed that he uses his infamous role as a male stripper in Magic Mike to his advantage in the relationship. When asked when was the last time he danced, Manganiello responded, “The last time I danced was probably busting out some Magic Mike moves at home for my girlfriend.”

Despite keeping his relationship close to the vest, Manganiello has stated his desire to get married and have children in the future. In an interview with Elle, Manganiello revealed that he doesn’t want to be a playboy forever, saying, “At the end of the day, I want to share my life with somebody, you know? I want picture albums. I want to look back at our time together. And I also want kids. And if you want kids, then you want marriage.”

As if Manganiello couldn’t get even more adorable, when asked to describe his ideal woman, Manganiello answered with a simple “My girlfriend.”
