Whitney Port addressed her health on social media after fans expressed concern that she was looking too skinny.
Fans began commenting on Port’s posts in recent weeks, saying that they were worried for the star’s wellbeing. Her husband, Tim Rosenman, eventually voiced his own thoughts about his wife’s weight loss.
“I also want to address my weight real quick,” The Hills alum said on Instagram. “I’ve gotten a lot of comments about looking too thin. At first, it didn’t bother me. I chalked it up to people not knowing what my diet looks like.”
“But Timmy brought it to my attention, as a good husband should, and said it’s not just something strangers are spewing. He has been worried about me,” she continued.
Port wrote her message over a photo of herself with her five-year-old son, Sonny. She admitted that she had stopped eating.
“I eat to live, not the other way around,” she said. “But after stepping on the scale, it hit me. It’s not something I strive for. I always feel hungry but I just don’t know what to eat.”
She explained that her intention was never to lose so much weight, but that she is often too tired and too picky to make herself food.

“I promised Timmy and I’ll promise you that my health will always be a priority,” Port concluded.
Port has always been candid about her health. In 2021, she shared that the couple had experienced their third pregnancy loss in recent years.
