White supremacist Nick Fuentes was granted access to X after his account was taken down. Following his return to the social media platform, Fuentes’ account streamed LGBTQ pornographic material. Fuentes claimed a pro-Israel Telegram channel was responsible.
In response to a post about the incident, Fuentes wrote, “This is getting desperate. My proprietary live streaming site was hacked after my stream went offline by someone claiming to be IDF Unit 8200. The hacker took credit by watermarking the porn and leaving messages on the back end of the site. Easily disprovable nonsense.”
IDF Unit 8200 is an Israeli intelligence unit that utilizes cyber warfare. The official unit has not expressed any responsibility for the incident on Fuentes’ channel.
Ousted Rep. George Santos mocked Fuentes on X, claiming he was secretly gay. After Fuentes’ fans attacked Santos, the former New York representative continued to mock Fuentes, calling him an “evil gay Mexican twink.”
A far-right political commentator, Fuentes is known for his antisemitic, Islamophobic and white supremacist views. In November 2022, Fuentes joined rapper Kanye West and former President Donald Trump for dinner at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
In December 2023, after West apologized for making antisemitic remarks, Fuentes expressed disappointment in West. “It’s so over. It’s a total capitulation! I never thought I’d see it.”
