'White Collar' Star Matt Bomer Comes Out As Gay
Matt Bomer is popping up all over the place, with a starring role as con man Neal Caffrey in USA's White Collar, an upcoming stint as Darren Criss's brother in Glee, and a role in the male stripper fest, Magic Mike, with Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, and Alex Pettyfer. And now the 34-year-old hot commodity has officially come out of the closet.
Last week, an article in OK Magazine casually revealed that Bomer "shares three kids with his partner, Simon Halls." Bomer took the opportunity to gush about the importance of kids in his life, both personally and through his charity work. "I think it's important to choose something that's really close to your heart," he told the magazine about the possibility of starting his own charity. "It would revolve around kids. If you can give kids a chance because they are what is carrying on our legacy."
During a speech Bomer gave via video in accepting the New Generation Arts and Activism Award at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards on Saturday, he thanked "my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment," he said.
Until Bomer's Glee time this April, you can catch him in White Collar Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on USA.
