Daylight savings time (DST) is coming to an end early Sunday morning, or, in other words, Standard time will resume on Nov. 2.
Clocks in America will be going back an hour Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 a.m., meaning many will get a chance to grab an extra hour of sleep. That is, unless you live in Hawaii or Arizona, two states which do not participate in daylight savings time, choosing instead to follow Mountain Standard Time all year-round.
Don’t forget: any smartphone or electronic device with a GPS and automatic date and time features will change times without prompting, but analog clocks and other electronic devices will have to be set back an hour. (Example: you wake up at 10 a.m., but the time has changed to 9 a.m.)
