Super Bowl XLVII will be a battle between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdown in New Orleans, La., on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 P.M. EST on CBS.

The matchup is already historic, as the head coaches for the opposing teams also happen to be brothers Jim and John Harbaugh. It’s already been nicknamed the HarBowl in their honor. John’s Baltimore Ravens finished off their regular season with a 10–6 record, while the San Francisco 49ers helmed by brother Jim Harbaugh performed just slightly better, finishing with a record of 11–4–1. The Harbaughs last faced each other in a 2011 Thanksgiving Classic which saw John's Ravens take the win with a score of 16–6.

Super Bowl XLVII is significant for more reasons than the Harbaugh brothers. If San Francisco captures the trophy, they'll be tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl wins with six in franchise history. Both the 49ers (5-0) and the Ravens (1-0) are undefeated in Super Bowl appearances, making a win for either team historically significant as they'll be the only team with multiple Super Bowl appearances to be undefeated in the title game.

Baltimore and San Francisco are both led from the pocket by unsuspecting heroes. Raven's QB Joe Flacco played at the Universty of Pittsburgh before transferring to the University of Delaware when he wasn't getting the playing time at the Big East school. While a proven deep pass thrower, he still faces doubt that he's one of the best in the league. For the Niners, there's Colin Kaepernick, an all-round athlete who was only offered a scholarship to play college football by one school – his alma mater the University of Nevada. At 25, this will make Kaepernick's tenth NFL start after taking over the reigns from veteran Alex Smith.

As everyone knows, the Super Bowl is not only about the football. The cost of a mere 30 seconds of ad space hit a record high of $4 million for the untimely breaks during the forty-seventh Super Bowl. The high price tag was too much for General Motors, who will not be airing a commercial during the game. Who will? Most notably is fellow automaker Mercedes-Benz who will be featuring Kate Upton in their ad. They'll be joined by the usual suspects Coca-Cola, Best Buy, Taco Bell, Subway and, of course, Anheuser-Busch, among others. Alicia Keys will sing the National Anthem, and Beyonce will perform at halftime.

In between watching the game and rating commercials, there's plenty of commentary of both to be found on Twitter.
