Actor Wesley Snipes, 47, has been ordered to serve three years in prison after a Florida court upheld their decision to convict the actor of a multi-million dollar tax evasion.
The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday to affirm the original sentence Snipes received in 2008 for three counts of misdemeanors. At the time, Snipes was found guilty of failing to file tax returns from 1999 to 2001 and evaded nearly $12 million in government taxes. He claimed his sentence was "unreasonable" and filed the appeal.
The ruling did not specify when or where Snipes was due to report to prison. –Natthakan Garunrangseewong
