Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, just dropped a new single called “Starboy” in collaboration the French electronic band Daft Punk. The Toronto singer also teased a new same-named album with a release date scheduled on Nov. 25.

Following his 2015 hits album Beauty Behind The Madness, the private alternative R&B singer and producer is back with a darker, more electronic sound. He hinted, “the [Starboy] production feels aggressive but still sexy.” In a recent interview with VMan, The Weeknd also named a few artists as main influences on the album, including Prince, The Smiths, Bad Brains, Talking Heads and DeBarge.

The singer built his fame on many collaborations such as ones with Ariana Grande, Lil Wayne, or more recently with Kanye West and Beyoncé.

The album is already one of the most-anticipated ones of this fall. It will feature 18 new tracks.
