The official teaser trailer for The Hangover Part III has been released, and Phil (Bradley Cooper), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Stu (Ed Helms) are returning to the place where they first formed their “wolfpack": Las Vegas.
“This summer it all ends,” the trailer proclaims in its opening crawl. In this brief peek we get the expected shots of a shirtless Alan, a high-strung Stu and the suave Phil. This “epic conclusion” also promises appearances by Heather Graham, Ken Jeong and, for the first time in The Hangover franchise, John Goodman. But the trailer offers little else as to what the actual movie will be about, aside from the fact that Alan's father (Jeffrey Tambor) appears to have passed away, and they are going to Vegas one last time to end… something.
The first two Hangover movies combined to earn more than $1 billion worldwide, so audiences can expect Part III to make another significant run at the box office. However, some fans felt miffed by Part II after it seemed to recycle the plot of the original. Will Part III win more fans over? We will just have to wait until the movie's premeire, May 24, 2013, to find out.
