It's been three years since director and iconoclast Quentin Tarantino, 49, beguiled fans with the gory and gutsy Inglourious Basterds, which starred Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, and Diane Kruger, and now Tarantino is teaming up with Waltz again in his new Django Unchained, a Civil War-era film that stars Kerry Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, James Remar, Don Johnson, Bruce Dern, and Jamie Foxx in the titular role.

Django Unchained follows Foxx's character, a slave living before the Civil War whose freedom is purchased by a man named Schultz (Waltz) for the purposes of turning Django into a bounty hunter, according to USA Today. In the meantime, Django's wife, Broomhilda, played by Washington, is captured by evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (DiCaprio), who, with the help of his trainer Ace Woody (Russell), forces his captives to fight each other to the death.

The first full-length teaser-trailer for Django Unchained, which is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, has been sweeping the Internet. Watch it here:
