President Donald Trump said that he would “take a look” at pardoning reality star Joe Exotic from prison.
On Wednesday, a reporter from the New York asked Trump if he would consider pardoning the Tiger King star.
Joe Exotic, legally known as Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, is serving a 22-year prison sentence after being convicted of hiring a hit man to murder animal rights activist Carole Baskin.
“I know nothing about it. He has 22 years for what, what did he do?” Trump asked the reporter. “Do you think he didn’t do it? Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon? As a reporter, you’re not allowed to do that.”
