WATCH: Paris Jackson’s New Video “Let Down” Explores Her Recent Bad Breakup

Paris Jackson has opened up about her broken heart in her new song “Let Down,” which will be one of the tracks on her upcoming album Wilted.

“I’m excited, I’m nervous, but I feel confident that the people that are supposed to hear this record are going to hear it,” she told reporters about the album. “With regards to critics and stuff, I don’t really think they’re going to know how to critique it.”

“Let Down” in particular was inspired by the pain of Jackson’s recent breakup, which she described as a literal “aching in your chest.” Its music video is gothic and gorey, inspired by her father, Michael Jackson‘s, iconic Thriller music video. Watch the full video above.

Wilted, the full album, is set for release on November 13.
