Macklemore, 29, and Ryan Lewis, 24, the musicians who hit it big with their 2012 songs, "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us" from album The Heist, upstaged even host Kevin Hart on Saturday Night Live this weekend, when they had the crowd roaring with their two renditions of the tunes.
Ray Dalton joined Macklemore (real name Ben Haggerty) and Lewis on vocals for "Can't Hold Us," while vocalist Wanz sang the hook on "Thrift Shop," for which there was even a horn section.
It was Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' first time on SNL, and based on their spirited performances and the internet buzz that has followed them, it will likely not be their last.
