Watch: Killer Mike Arrested For Altercation At The Grammys After Winning Three Awards
Rapper Killer Mike was arrested after the 2024 Grammy Award after winning three awards on Sunday.
Footage captured on TikTok shows Killer Mike handcuffed and escorted by authorities out of Crypto.com Arena. The alleged cause for his arrest was due to a physical altercation, though details are still unclear. Some reports mention the rapper bumping into a security guard.
Killer Mike was then taken into a private room for questioning before being transported to LAPD Central Division. LAPD posted the news to X without naming the rapper.
“On Sunday February 4th just after 4pm a male adult was detained & handcuffed for a physical altercation that occurred at the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court.”
Killer Mike was booked for misdemeanor battery. He has since been released from custody.
The rapper won three Grammy Awards for his album Michael and song “Scientists & Engineers.” Killer Mike previously won his first Grammy in 2003 for his song “The Whole World” and was nominated in 2018 for “Chase Me.”
