Kamala Harris made a gleeful phone call to Joe Biden after learning that they had won the presidential election.
“We did it,” she tells the president-elect over the phone. “We did it Joe. You’re going to be the next president of the United States.” Then, although we cannot hear Biden on the other end, Harris laughs.
In the clip from Saturday, Harris celebrates knowing she is set to be the first black, first South-Asian and first female vice president in American history.
The short video posted to Twitter has racked up 43 million views, 3.3 million likes, more than 763,000 retweets and more than 100,000 replies, as of Monday. The replies are filled with celebrities and Twitter users celebrating the historic win.
