Someone strapped a Tickle-Me-Elmo doll to the back of a jet engine and completely obliterated the lovable children’s toy to smithereens.
The guys at PowerModz seem to have taken a severe disliking to the fluffy red character and the bizarre-but-hilarious video, actually shot in 2104, started re-circulating on the internet yesterday.
Set to the tune of what sounds like a children’s nursery rhyme, we see the toy literally ripped apart from the seams and disintegrate to nothing due to the sheer force of the jet engine. The guys even take extra care to melt Elmo right down to his little plastic voice box.
The toy-killers do give justification for their crime, claiming that they’re simply fulfilling the dream of any parent who’s had to listen to the character’s sweet-as-pie utterings just one time too many.
Elmo himself has yet to comment.
