Brad Pitt narrated the new presidential campaign ad for Joe Biden, calling him “a president for all Americans.”
The ad, which first aired during the World Series game on Sunday features the former vice president and his wife Jill Biden meeting supporters on the campaign trail.
“America is a place for everyone: those who chose this county, those who fought for it, some Republicans, some Democrats, and most, just somewhere in between,” Pitt narrates in the ad. “All looking for the same thing: someone who understands their hopes, their dreams, their pain, to listen, to bring people together, to get up everyday and work to make life better for families like yours. To look you in the eye and treat you with respect and tell you the truth; to work just as hard for the people who voted for him as those who didn’t; to be a president for all Americans.”
Pitt isn’t the only celebrity to support Biden. Other famous faces like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Taylor Swift have all announced support for him. Many celebrities who originally backed other candidates during the Democratic primary have now switched their support to Biden, including Melissa Etheridge, who originally backed Elizabeth Warren, and Cardi B, who originally backed Bernie Sanders.
