Watch: Bill Murray Does Jimmy Kimmel Interview In The Bathtub

Bill Murray took his virtual interview on Wednesday with Jimmy Kimmel from his bathtub.

The actor and comedian acted completely normal while talking to Kimmel and simultaneously filling his tub with water and bubbles.

“I’m drawing my tub now, and I’m having a little difficulty because getting the right temperature is always a problem for me. For the purposes of today, it’s kind of a celebration. Because I haven’t seen you in a while, I thought a bubble bath would be appropriate. But you know how it is with bubbles, you can’t snap your fingers and make them. They just come when they come,” Murray told Kimmel.

The interview added some comic relief to the current age of quarantine. Murray said he is going through “a funny moment” right now.

Kimmel told Murray he doesn’t have to stay in his tub for the entirety of his quarantine, but the host added, “You know, this is genius really. Because they do say soap and water are the best things to protect you from the virus and you’re right in it.”

Murray and Kimmel discuss bubble baths, life in quarantine, baseball, the Michael Jordan documentary The Last Dance, Murray’s upcoming nacho competition with Guy Fieri and more. 

Murray reminded the audience about his appearance in Space Jam with Jordan. “I made the movie Space Jam with Michael Jordan and people forget that I got the assist on the game-winning basket, you know it’s so easily forgotten. I stole the ball, I made the pass. I got nothing. I wasn’t even interviewed after,” Murray joked.

Murray is currently in Charleston, South Carolina, which was one of the first states to reopen. He expressed concern that not everyone is wearing masks and also answered fan questions on how to stay busy during this period of social distancing.
