Watch: Alec Baldwin’s Trump Brags About His Coronavirus Response On ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Names Joe Exotic V.P. Running Mate

Alec Baldwin reprised his role as President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live’s first ever at home episode, calling in to Weekend Update to boast that the USA is now “Number one in the world,” for cases and deaths.

“My TV ratings are through the roof, and every night at 7 p.m. all of New York claps and cheers for the great job I’m doing,” he tells Colin Jost and Michael Che, who co-hosted the segment from their homes.

“I’ve always said it was a giant hoax that we should take very seriously,” Baldwin’s Trump continued, He also referred to the disease as “Covfefe-19,” and said “everyone needs to wash their hands — or not.” He also warned that all absentee ballots are “covered in coronavirus.”

Other parts of the episode included Che honoring his grandmother who died last week from complications from coronavirus, Larry David as Bernie Sanders suspending his campaign, Kate McKinnon as Ruth Bader Ginsburg showing people how to work out and Pete Davidson as a rapper who makes music videos about Drake’s music.

Tom Hanks was the celebrity host, making jokes about being America’s dad and using the right amount of vegemite. Chris Martin was the musical guest and he performed a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Shelter From The Storm.”
