The Wasco Clown has been scaring Bakersfield, Calif., residents, posting photographs of himself in various places around the city at night on social media, inspiring a copycats, one of whom was arrested after being spotted carrying weapons.
The Wasco Clown first announced itself on Instagram on Oct. 7, posting a creepy photo to the account with the caption, “Where should I go tonight,” followed by a series of towns and knife and gun emojis.
