The Flash
Comic book fans will be excited to learn that Wally West, a.k.a. Kid Flash, will crop up on next week’s The Flash episode “Running To Stand Still.”
Wally West is played by Keiynan Lonsdale (Insurgent) but there’s no telling when he’ll actually don the red and yellow lycra and become Kid Flash.
“Just like when we met Grant for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement released when Lonsdale was cast back in August. “We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.”
We know Wally is long lost brother to Iris, whose mother Francine showed up a couple weeks back to give the double whammy news that she was dying and that she had been pregnant with another child when she left Joe; Wally. From the image above, it appears Iris and Joe aren’t exactly ready to welcome him with open arms.
“Running To Stand Still” airs Dec. 8.
