A The Walking Dead deleted scene shows Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) discussing Alexandria’s weapons ban.

The Walking Dead Deleted Scene

The DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD of The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season features three hours of bonus content, which includes a pivotal scene between Rick and Michonne from the episode titled “Forget.” The scene takes place after Rick armed himself with one of the guns that Carol had stolen from the armory – but before Michonne had to stop him from using the gun on Pete.

“Is that true, what you said about us not having our guns?” asks Michonne as they patrol the wall.

“It is,” Rick lies. “These people aren’t ready. I think we should have them, but we’re new. We’ll get there. Right now, it’s their rules and not ours.”

“And you’re good with that?” asks a dubious Michonne.

“Yea, if anything happens, our guns are close enough,” Rick says. After Michonne says it weird to hear him giving in, he adds, “We still have your sword. Still have that just in case things go south quick, right?”

The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season will be released Aug. 25.

The Walking Dead‘s sixth season premieres on AMC Oct. 11 at 9/8c. The Walking Dead‘s companion series Fear the Walking Dead will premiere on AMC Aug. 23 at 9/8c.
