‘The Voice’ Season 12, Episode 18 Recap: Judges Finalize Top 12
Last night on The Voice, the remaining judges’ teams were solidified into groups of three, giving us this season’s Top 12.
THE VOICE RECAP: TOP 12 FINALIZED
On Team Gwen Stefani, we welcome Brennley Brown, Hunter Plake, and Troy Ramey. Brown sang “Fly” by Maddie & Tay, not a popular song per se, but an impressive one all the same. Plake did “Elastic Heart” by Sia, and the judges agree he is a rare gem. Adam Levine thinks he will make it main stream after the season ends. Ramey sang Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.”
Team Adam welcomed Jesse Larson, Lilli Passero, and Mark Isaiah. Larson performed “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder and was dubbed the “white Cee-Lo Green” by his coach. Passero sang “It’s Too Late” by Carole King in an authentic performance. She proved she has a long way to go, but that she is a good choice for the Top 12. Lastly, Isaiah sand Jon Bellion’s “All Time Low.” It seems this kid has to prove that he’s more than an average Justin Bieber wannabe. Despite not getting the votes, Levine decided to save Isaiah and put him on his roster.
So the final six of the Top 12 have been chosen. The night before Team Blake Shelton confirmed Lauren Duski, Aliyah Moulden, and TSoul, while Team Alicia Keys brought on Vanessa Ferguson, Chris Blue, and Stephanie Rice.
