Vin Diesel‘s stunt double, Joe Watts, has been seriously injured during the filming of Fast & Furious 9.

The accident occurred on Monday at the Warner Bros. Studio in Hertfordshire, England. There is no news about what exactly happened, but Watts reportedly fell during a stunt and seriously injured his head.

Watts was reportedly trying to perform a stunt which involved jumping from a balcony.

A Hertfordshire Police rep said, “Police were called shortly before noon today following an incident at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.”

“It was reported that a man had been injured while working at the location and sustained serious injuries,” the officer continued. “The air ambulance attended and police officers are currently on scene to assist and carry out initial inquiries.”

The ambulance service stated, “One patient with a serious head injury was transported to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance.”

It is unclear if any of the film stars, Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese, Helen Mirren or Charlize Theron were on set when the incident occurred.

Watt’s condition is currently unknown.

Watt’s is a stuntman from the UK who has appeared in movies such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
