Vin Diesel posted a photo of his abs on Instagram Tuesday after photos of him during a family vacation, showing him with a hint of a belly, received a lot of attention.

VIN DIESEL RESPONDS TO BODY-SHAMERS

In response to the photo of his so-called ‘dad bod,’ Diesel began to receive a lot of questions about it while promoting his new film The Last Witch Hunter in New York. He first posted a photo of himself wearing a t-shirt a shades, with the comment, “It is amazing the response from the journalists who I have been talking to for the last two days in New York. Today one wanted to see the dad bod. Haha. I am wondering if I should show the picture.. Body-shaming is always wrong! What do you think?”

Diesel then decided to post a photo of his abs to show that he, in fact, did not have a dad bod. This photo came merely days after the photo of him on vacation, so he clearly cannot have been that out of shape.

Although he was recently on vacation with his family, Diesel hopes to be able to spend even more time when them soon. “You don’t get that much down time. As a father your kids are already making sacrifices for you,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

Diesel has three children with his model wife Paloma Jimenez: Hania Riley, 7, Vincent Sinclair, 5, and Pauline, 6 months.

The Last Witch Hunter comes out in theaters Oct. 23.
