We know you've been following the Golden Globes and the Oscars. We have been, too, in case you hadn't noticed. But we're also sympathetic to how tiresome it can be to watch the same films win all the awards again and again, while we've, well, moved on. In our latest UBlog post, writer and movie reviewer Justin Jannise weighs in on why some films that get "dumped" in January are in some ways better than all these over-hyped Oscar-grabbers.
One such film, Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton as a pair of warring church choir members, might even deserve a place on next year's ballots.
