Footage shared by firefighters from the Valencia region (Bombers Consorci VLC) shows crews rescuing two drivers stranded in floodwaters in Alzira, using a helicopter.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) issued a red alert for rain for the Valencian community, valid for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Several bodies were recovered in the floods, and multiple other people remained missing, according to news reports. Emergency services said the flash floods have so far killed at least 62 people.
