VIDEO: Tiger & Wild Boar Rescued From Well In Indian That Inspired ‘The Jungle Book’
A team from a nature reserve in India had the tricky task of separating two unlikely bath mates after a tiger and a wild boar fell into a well. Video of the unusual intervention was released by the Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. “In one of the most challenging rescue operations ever conducted, the dedicated team of Pench Tiger Reserve successfully rescued a tiger and a wild boar in a high-risk situation,” the reserve said. The footage shows the animals being rescued from the well and being released. Neither animal was injured. According to the reserve’s website, the area inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. This was one animal adventure you could not make up. (Credit: Pench Tiger Reserve via Storyful)
