The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo started off as the first book of Swedish author Stieg Larsson's acclaimed trilogy. Then, it was a 2009 Swedish film directed by Niels Arden Oplev, and the book series subsequently got an even larger audience. Now, it's a film again, this time by director David Fincher, best known for his films Fight Club and The Social Network.
A quick teaser trailer featuring cast members Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara and Robin Wright was released this summer, but with the launch of this new, lengthier trailer we get to see even more of what Fincher's version will add to the tale of journalist Mikael Blomkvist and his search for the missing niece of a welathy CEO.
