Syrians came out to celebrate what was being dubbed “Victory Friday” on Dec. 13, with video here showing the scene in Hama.
In a Telegram post, insurgent leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, also known as Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, encouraged Syrians to gather in the streets to express their joy at the victory.
Footage posted by Al-Askare shows a huge crowd in Assi Square in Hama, with many waving Syrian flags.
