Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name Daniel Hernandez, released his first song since leaving prison, “Gooba.”
In his song, he mentions the recent coronavirus outbreak while addressing the backlash he faced during his time behind bars.
The rapper is serving the remainder of his sentence at home due to his asthma symptom that made him vulnerable to coronavirus.
Hernandez was sentenced last year for the felony charges from his gang activity. He then cooperated with the authorities by giving information about the gang that he was affiliated with.
He has been criticized by many hip-hop artists and communities ever since, even being called a “rat.”
