VIDEO: Suspects Use Explosives To Break Into Museum & Steal Ancient Artifact In The Netherlands

Suspects used explosives to break into the Drents Museum in Assen, Netherlands, before stealing artifacts on Jan. 25, police said. Drenthe Police published this footage showing the break-in on X. They said they received reports of the break-in at around 3:45 am. According to police, “several archaeological masterpieces were stolen,” including the Golden Helmet of Cotofenesti, which dates back to the fifth century BC. (Credit: Drenthe Police via Storyful)
