Rapper Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was released on a $10,000 bond after being arrested in Temple, Ga., on Tuesday. Soulja Boy, three friends and the driver of a rented Cadillac Escalade were pulled over by police, who found $46,000 cash, three guns and more than 5 ounces of marijuana in the SUV.
When Soulja Boy walked out of the courthouse, he was greeted by fans who had waited outside to catch a glimpse. "I'm innocent, man. I love you all. I just want you all to know I'm innocent," Soulja Boy told fans, CBS Atlanta reports.
Soulja Boy, 21, who has been promoting the DVD release of a film about his career so far, Soulja Boy: The Movie, took to Twitter to thank fans for the support they gave him. "Thank you and i'm sorry. love you forever, seeing your letters and you standing outside that jail made me feel the love. my fans r the best," he tweeted.

What lesson can we learn from this: If you absolutely must drive around with guns and copious amounts of drugs and money, then please, for the love of God, make sure your taillights aren't broken.
