Robert Blake, 78, the former star of Baretta who also played the Mystery Man in David Lynch's Lost Highway, will appear on Piers Morgan's CNN show in an interview that airs tonight at 9 p.m.

Things got dicey on Morgan's show as soon as he started to grill Blake about the 2002 incident in which he was arrested for the murder of his wife Bonnie Lee Bakley before being acquitted in 2005. At one point, Morgan expressed uncertainty about whether or not he could get to the truth about the matter with Blake.

"Well, tell me where I'm lying," Blake demanded of British reporter Morgan. "Because if you don't know I'm telling you the truth, then you must have a little scratch in the back of your head about where I'm lying. Tell me where I'm lying."

Morgan insisted that he never said Blake was lying, to which Blake's discomfort only mounted. "You said I might not be telling the truth. What the hell is the difference? … You just insulted me!" he said. "Nobody tells me I'm a liar."

Just when it looked like Blake might storm off set, like others before him on Piers Morgan Tonight, he calmed himself down, explaining, "My skin is a little bit thin, which is why I stay away from people, mostly," and the interview was allowed to continue.
