The video for "We Found Love," the first single off Rihanna's upcoming album, has fans buzzing about its psychedelic visuals and its portrayal of an intense, youthful love affair gone wayward — a reminder of the pop star's infamous, domestic troubles with then-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009.

Directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also created videos for such Rihanna hits as "S&M" and "Rude Boy," the video depicts scenes of drug abuse and heated arguments between Rihanna and British model/boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy, MTV News reports. But it's not all bad for the hot, young pair. Before things get sour, they seem to be having a great time passionately acting like fools at outdoor concerts, in restaurants and in seedy motel rooms.

Filmed partially in Bangor, east of Belfast, Ireland, one land proprietor who gave the film crew permission to use his farm complained when Rihanna went topless for a particular scene. "The state of undress was becoming inappropriate," Northern Ireland farmer Alan Graham, who had not heard of Rihanna beforehand, told the BBC.
