After announcing the release of a new album The King of Limbs earlier this week, Radiohead surprised fans once again by making the music available for digital download one day earlier than originally promised. Considering the eager response from fans following Monday’s announcement on their website, and the fact that the music was in fact complete, why not give the people what they want? “With everything ready on their website, the band decided to bring forward the release,” members said in a press release. “The King of Limbs” is available for digital download in MP3 and WAV formats for $9 and $14, respectively.
The British band also released the video for the album’s first single, “Lotus Flower.” The black and white affair, directed by Garth Jennings, features frontman Thom Yorke frantically dancing by himself while wearing a black Charlie Chaplin-esque bowler.
