Police detained a performer during the Super Bowl halftime show after he waved a Palestinian and Sudanese combination flag during the Super Bowl halftime show. The video here shows a man being held on the ground by security while Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance continues. Uniformed police officers then arrive. Other footage circulating online shows the same man holding the combined flag while dancing on a car and running around the field, before being tackled by security. The NFL said the man was part of the 400-member halftime show cast. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said the man would be banned from all NFL stadiums and events for life. The New Orleans Police Department said said the man would not be charged in the incident. (Credit: @guywiththebeer via Storyful)
