After taking a tumble onstage in Singapore earlier in the week, Mariah Carey was spotted in a wheelchair at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Her rep, Cindy Berger, confirmed yesterday that Carey, 41, was wheelchair-bound because she had twisted her ankle after her fall and needed to keep her feet comfortable.
"Mariah twisted her ankle in Singapore and should have packed more sensible shoes, but she doesn't have any," Berger told Us Magazine. "I'm sending her a pair of flats today."
Rumors of pregnancy have followed Carey all summer, after she celebrated her two-year anniversary to hubby Nick Cannon, 29, in April. She has remained mum about the rumors, despite signs of a swelling midsection. –ISHITA SINGH
