VIDEO: Justin Bieber Visits Tsunami Victims In Japan

When the chips are down, you can count on Justin Bieber, 17, to reach out to his fans. The pint-sized pop star performed two shows in Japan on the last leg of his My World tour, and while he was there, he met with nine teens who had been uprooted by the March earthquake and tsunami.

"Things can get better and things will get better," he said while hanging out with his young fans. "There's only good times to come from this. So, again, my prayers go to all of your families and everybody."

Bieber wanted to schedule his performances in the regions that were hit hardest by the natural disaster, reports CNN, but when that proved impractical, he decided that reaching out to individual kids was the next best thing. "Show day in TOKYO…beyond grateful to be here," he tweeted. "Thankful to the crew for coming with me. #supportjapan #myworldtour #makeachange."

Bieber's nine guests were also treated to VIP passes at his show. Bieber will be back in the states and presenting at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.
