Ahoy mateys! Pirates stormed a London school Thursday afternoon — or at least one pirate did. Johnny Depp, donning full Jack Sparrow attire, visited a local primary school after a 9-year-old girl wrote to him asking for help in organizing a mutiny against the teachers.

To everyone's surprise, Depp, 47, showed up in the school to do just that, according to MTV News. "Normally we're a right handful, but we're having trouble mutinying against our teachers," Beatrice, the student, wrote. "We'd love it if you could come and help." After Depp arrived, the school called a general assembly, and students were gathered together to hear him perform in character and advise them on the niceties of mutiny.

Before he left, Depp gave Beatrice a hug. "Maybe we shouldn't mutiny today, 'cos there are police outside monitoring me," he told her. The actor is currently filming the latest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series, opposite Penelope Cruz. –AMY LEE
