It seems last night that the Great White Way got decorated with some Tinsel, as three Hollywood stars walked away with statues at the 64th annual Tony Awards. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Scarlett Johansson and Denzel Washington, all award-winning actors for their film roles, were among a handful of film actors who took on Broadway this past year. "Being welcomed into this community has been a dream come true for me," Johansson said.

In one of the evening’s highlights, host Sean Hayes made out with his Promises, Promises co-star Kristin Chenoweth. The openly gay Hayes had been criticized by a Newseek writer for not being able to "play straight."

All three actors are now one step closer to achieving the Showbiz Grand Slam, colloquially termed an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony). To date, ten artists have won each, including Audrey Hepburn, Whoopi Goldberg and Barbra Streisand, among others. Of the three, Washington and Zeta-Jones are closest, as both have received Oscars, however, Johansson is the only one who has dabbled in music, she released her first full length album, the crtically panned Anywhere I Lay My Head in 2008.
