The founder of the Silk Road online marketplace, Ross Ulbricht, thanked President Donald Trump for pardoning him, saying he’s “a free man now” in a video message. Ulbricht was arrested in 2013 and sentenced in 2015 for running the marketplace, on which more than $200 million in illicit trade, including drug dealing, was carried out using cryptocurrency.
