VIDEO EXCLUSIVE: Andrew Bachelor Working With Robbie Amell On ‘Float’

Comedian and actor Andrew Bachelor spoke about his experience working with actor Robbie Amell for the movie Float in his new uInterview.

Bachelor is better known by his stage name King Bach, an internet comedian and actor who rose to fame on the video app Vine. Before Vine was shut down in 2017, Bachelor was the most-followed user, with over 16.2 million followers.

This is Bachelor’s fourth movie he’s worked on with Amell. Prior, the two had acted together in the horror/comedy The Babysitter and The Babysitter: Killer Queen, as well as When We First Met, all of which are on Netflix.

On his experience on set with Amell over the years, Bachelor told uInterview founder Erik Meers, “It’s always a pleasure to work with someone that you’ve worked with before, just because you guys are comfortable with each other, and you can play around and you know, it’s great. You know, you’re get working and you go get some food after.”

Bachelor reflected on his character’s role in the film as the best friend and said he thinks he provides the “voice of reason” in the story.

When asked what roles Bachelor seeks out, he responded, “I kinda switch around; I don’t believe in putting myself in a box. So I kind of like to play around, have fun with different types of characters – I’ll so a comedy, I’ll do an action comedy, I’ll do a horror, I’ll do a rom-com, I’ll do a drama – I’ll do it all really.”

Bachelor recalled a specific memory from shooting the film, Bachelor recalled a scene in which his character was teaching someone to swim. “One thing I remember most is being in that lake and pretending like it’s summer when it was absolutely freezing,” he said.

Bachelor will appear in The Walking Dead: The Ones That Live, which is set to come out February 25. He has also been cast in an action John Wick-style movie called Miles Rider, which will begin to shoot later this year.

When asked about his experience on The Walking Dead, Bachelor said, “Man, it’s fun, it’s fun because—you know, you do some TV shows, you do some movies, you’re doing a lot of green screen, you’re doing a lot of pretending there’s a monster over there. This one, no, they make that set look real, they got the haze going, they got the zombies full makeup, full prosthetics—it’s scary.”
